“I really liked this cream, it felt lovely on my skin, very hydrating and soothed redness. However, I was put off by the complexity and amount of the plastic packaging and actually the pump dispenser broke before the product was finished. When I tried to take it apart there was a shocking proportion of pack to product. It feels like the pack hides just how little cream you get. I’m willing (and fortunate) to be able to afford good quality, ethical skincare but what’s wrong with a simple tub? Disappointed.”
The Age Defy Brightening Moisturiser is packed in an airless pump. The bottle contains an inner piston that rises up as the product is pumped out, and which is moulded to be an exact fit with the base of the pump to ensure that no product is wasted. the full amount of actual product you get is advertised in this instance you get 30ml of moisturiser.
Once the pump stops working there will be no cream left to dispense, so there will be no wastage.
These airless pumps, also help to protect the product from bacteria and the product degrading quicker. The packaging is 100% recyclable.
