“I thought it was a terrible product and I really like green people's brand, this one disappointed me. My skin was quite orange /fake colour, the liquid itself doenst have a colour so it makes hard for applying it even. When it developed I saw my hands (top not palm/ I wore a mitten to apply it) were quite stained, knees, ankles and elbows too. It fades away very streaky and patchy it is quite embarrassing, I couldnt wait to get rid of this colour. It also has a V E R Y strong smell of fake tan! Sorry green people, won't buy it again and wont recommend it”

“After several disastrous attempts at applying self tan and spray tans, It took me a good few years to try it again. This product is awesome, it's easy to apply and the result is a beautiful, natural looking tan. It fades nicely too, no patches spoted yet. I did have the problem of tanned palms but have since used a tanning mit which hasn't affected the results at all. Love it so much I have recently ordered another bottle. Thanks green people”

“I rarely leave reviews but I had to do it for this product. I have been using fake tan religiously for the past 10 years. I have tried every brand going from St Tropez, Fake Bake, St Moriz, Bondi Sands, Xen Tan, Dr Organics. All of which leave me with a great tan to start with but within around 3 days im left with a faded patchy tan all over. I then have to spend 2 days scrubbing my skin to get all of it off so that my I can put another application on. However it is usually impossible to get it all off and im left with scaly orange snake looking skin in some areas of my body. To top it off they all smell really bad even the most expensive ones that claim to have no smell. I smell like biscuit/ hoola hoops even days after I can smell it when my skin gets hot and it can make clothes smell too.
This self tan lotion by Green People is the only tanning product that I have used that first of all genuinally has no bad smell. I can smell it very very slightly but probably about 10 percent compared to other products. It smells very pleasant even the next morning and im sure other people would not be able to smell it on me. I could easily go out with it on and not worry about smelling. Its got a lovely herbal fresh cream scent.
Second it leaves an extremely natural colour on your skin. It doesnt look like a harsh layer of orange tan but a subtle golden glow like you have caught the sun naturally. This is easily buildable too if you would like to go a bit darker.
Third and probably the best part for me is it fades like a natural tan would. Your skin simply starts to get lighter and thats it. You are not left with scaly dry orange patches over your body.
This self tan lotion does not have the indicator colour like most so it goes on just like a standard body lotion and takes a few hours to develop. This also means it does not stain clothes and you do not get a puddle of brown liquid come off in the shower. Because its a very natural colour you do not have to worry about missing a spot or patches as long as you make sure you cover your whole body. As normal you just have to go careful around hands feet knees and elbows. I simply use a baby wipe to wipe those areas and use a plain moisturiser to water it down on hands and feet to be extra sure it looks natural.
If you are quite pale like me and have struggled for years with unnatural looking fake tans... and if you are sick of desperately exfoliation leftover patchy tan off of your skin then I highly recommend this product.
It definitely isnt the cheapest but it is worth every penny and I would sacrifice other things to ensure I can afford to get this all year round. Also knowing it is kind to your skin and not full of harsh damaging chemicals makes it an incredible purchase. I will continue to use this in the future and hope self tan lotions like this will become the norm one day.”

“I have been using this fantastic natural tan for a few years and would highly recommend it. I wold be lost without it . It's easy to apply and looks amazingly natural. Makes you feel good having a healthy glow all year round . You can gradually build the colour up .It starts off a golden brown to a deeper brown the more you apply. Usually lasts a good 2-3 days even after a shower . Easy to apply too . Fantastic. . One of my favourite products ever.”

“I bought this mainly to use on my legs as they don't tan very well. After exfoliating I applied with a tanning glove. It gradually turned a lovely fairly natural looking tan with no streaks, a further application made to add more colour. Love the fact there are no nastiest in this”
