The concerns about Salicylic Acid relate to the use of Salicylic acid in skin peels etc used to remove excess dead skin cells. Such products contain between 2.0% and 3.0% salicylic acid and at this level it may penetrate the outer skin layers and affect cells in the deeper skin layers.
We use salicylic acid as part of the preservative blend, where it is present at 0.15%. At that low level salicylic acid is considered to be totally safe in pregnancy.

If you wish to avoid all salicylic acid during pregnancy you will need avoid all of the foods in the Moderate, High or Very High categories in that list.
