“I’ve chosen this based on ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t make the skin sticky once it’s rubbed in and it washes off nicely in the bath without soap. Would have given 5 stars if the application would’ve been easier. You have to rub it in well and quickly. Otherwise residue stays on the skin. It’s fine on the legs but doing that on the face is much more tricky. I find it difficult to apply properly there. I have also noticed that it can make the baby‘s eye gunky, she rubs her eyes when tired, so I don’t apply it on the hands now for that reason, and now it’s not a problem anymore.”

“It’s very bad to spread on and particularly in children you need something easy and quick to put on. They don’t have the patience to wait until is evenly spread. It is too dense and sticky. Don’t doubt that it might be a good and natural product but not for me.”

“I love the fact this is sensitive and organic and provides a decent level of protection but unfortunately it's not the sun cream for us. I found it difficult to rub in, I put it on myself and tried the patting approach which seemed to work better than rubbing, however after a while I found it started almost turning into little crumbly bits on my skin which wasn't pleasant. Maybe I put too much on but I would rather put too much on rather than too little. I also bought some from a different supplier (an approved one) and the colour is completely different!”

Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin, and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or in the wrong order.
We would recommend exfoliating 2–3 times a week, which helps to remove dead skin cells which can form a blockade that keeps products from being absorbed. It may also help if you tap in the product rather than rubbing it in. We also advise using the Sun Cream on its own, with no other products underneath or on top.
Due to the high level of plant derived ingredients and the complex nature of the UV filters used in our sun creams, they are prone to colour change during storage. This is entirely normal and whilst they are a creamy-white colour when first manufactured, they can develop a darker, tan shade over time. The rate at which this colour change takes place can be influenced by storage conditions, with warmer temperatures accelerating the process. This change in colour does not affect the UV protection offered by the sun creams.

“Good suncream for kids, not had any burn issues even though it's a lower factor than what we usually have. Only downside is I find it hard to rub in, which isn't always easy on kids. I found patting it in helped rather than rubbing.”
