“I have used this product, along with the other Green People sunscreens, for nearly 20 years. I feel confident using it as it is full of natural ingredients. I have used it both as a moisturiser and sunscreen to excellent effect: my skin condition is very good for my age. (I have only just started using a skin oil and moisturiser as well, as I have reached an age when I could do with the extra benefits). I have used it every single day of those years, and I have effectively stopped any further skin damage since the time I started using it, as witnessed by my extremely good, unwrinkled skin. I would only say: make sure you take a Vitamin D3 supplement, or spend a little time each day unprotected, so as to ensure sufficient natural sun exposure - I warn you: this product is very effective! My only sadness is that they took the lavender scent out of it - I loved that!”

“Bought this for my 8 year old who's prone to very itchy eczema. High street brand bought her out in hives but this has been great. She has the facial sun cream too and is very happy using it.”

“What a pity, I might well have been an enthusiast but it was ruined by being perfumed. I don’t want my face smelling strongly of citronella and geraniol.”

“I bought this for my gran child it’s not cream coulour it’s tan looks orange on children used to be white. Was told it’s been sitting around in heat done it was green people excuse . And another person got told they added difrent ingredients? No it’s that tan coulour when bought . Few white lies being told buy green people won’t buy again wile it’s like orange fake tan child blowgun orange when on. My daughter had one at back of wardrobe forgot it was there for months it start white in coulour. Oviousley green people have added tan ingredients???”

Due to the high level of plant derived ingredients and the complex nature of the UV filters used in our sun creams, they are prone to colour change during storage. This is entirely normal and whilst they are a creamy-white colour when first manufactured, they can develop a darker, tan shade over time. The rate at which this colour change takes place can be influenced by storage conditions, with warmer temperatures accelerating the process. This change in colour does not affect the UV protection offered by the sun creams.
We have not added in a tan ingredient or colour to the product.
