“This used to be my holy grail spf moisturiser, as it was a physical spf, didn’t sting my eyes and was perfect under makeup. But my latest bottle was awful - it pills up and rubs off when I apply my makeup (in the same way and same foundation that I always used before. It even pills when I touch my face during the day when I don’t wear make up. I imagine this means that the spf coverage is compromised, as the physical sunscreen is coming off in patches.
Why oh why did you change the formula? I won’t be purchasing anymore.”

Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or in the wrong order.
We would recommend exfoliating 2 – 3 times a week, which helps to remove dead skin cells which can form a blockade that keeps products from being absorbed.

“I like this product so much, although can take a while to rub in. Annoying if your in a rush. Price wise - can get a bit steep if buying for the whole family, so more offers would be appreciated please. Biggest moan is that orange packaging! The design is so boring. Can’t you just scrap the orange and put a big sun behind your black green people logo or something that represents holidays and fun. Nothing complicated- for example your shampoo bottles have a much nicer design.”
