“This is a very gentle product that has never irritated my skin even after daily use. The only downside for me is that when reapplying it 'pils' quite badly, almost as if the original application is coming off the surface of my skin. Nevertheless it is still my go to sunscreen because of its gentleness and the fact it neither dries my skin nor makes it greasy.”
Hi Annette, thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that the Facial Sun Cream is suitable for your skin. Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or in the wrong order. “I always used ordinary sun creams with no bother, but this last few years every time I used sun cream on my face, my eyes would swell and puff. I had to stop using sun screen which meant I couldn't expose my skin to the sun. My body was ok with ordinary cream but my face kept reacting. I was going to Italy for 2 weeks and travelling round and wanted something that wouldn't cause this reaction. I searched online and came across Green People Scent free facial sun cream. It has a great pump action and you only need a small amount. It is easy to apply, slightly thicker than other creams and you have to rub it well in, but once on it keeps your skin cool and I didn't burn at all. My eyes didn't swell either so I felt confident to use this. It's so great yo have a sun cream that doesn't cause a reaction and I am looking forward to trying other Green People products!”
