“Over the past few years every facial sun cream I tried for sensitive skin still reacted badly with the sun, so always kept my face out of the sun. I was informed by a friend that most creams clog your pores, so try a cream that is water based.
I googled water based products and came across Green People which gave rave reviews. I tried face and body sun cream last year and haven’t had a reaction since. It’s so amazing I now use their face moisturiser, eye cream and tanning drops and after sun. All amazing products, last really well, not over expensive and are all kind to the planet.”

“Smoothes into my skin easily over my moisturiser resulting in invisible protection, so I’m happy knowing there are no nasties in the formulation. Make up can be applied over the top and doesn’t affect coverage. I am very pleased with the results.”

“Doesn’t work. Might be fine to use in a mildly warm and sunny climate but if you want actual spf30 protection when you are on holiday in a hot sunny country then do not use this product. it does not work. i burned after wearing for only a couple of hours in the sun. i am not fair skinned and have never burned my face before and i wear spf30 suncream on a daily basis. Bought this for a holiday as i wanted a reef-safe suncream but not at the expense of burning and damaging my own skin. Terrible product”

“I really wanted to like this product. But it doesn’t absorb into the skin and leaves lots of bits of the product on the skin surface. So you have to brush them off and waste product.”

This could be what is known as piling. Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin, and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or too much is used.
To prevent this, we do recommend exfoliating the skin in preparation before applying the product and making sure that there is not any excessive layering of products.
