“I've been using this face sunscreen on my holidays and it's brilliant. Easy to apply, not too heavy, doesn't irritate the skin and what's the most important protects your face very well, did not have a burn or even redness staying all day on the beach. Would recommend to everyone”

“This is the first sun cream that I've been able to use on my face without coming out in boil like spots. I've tried every type that you could imagine, with no luck. Until now. I would heartily recommend this product. The only downside for me was that it sat on top of my skin but it did it's job of protecting me from the sun so it was a small price to pay. 10 out of 10 from me.”

“This sunscreen gives the skin a lovely matt sheen & seems to protect well, the problem for me is it's too drying (must be the titanium dioxide). I find it a bit hard to rub in and my skin is drier in the evening when I remove it. I bought it because my skin has been dehydrated and I read that this sunscreen was moisturising but I now know titanium dioxide is as drying for me as zinc oxide... it's a pity because apart from that it is a great sunscreen. I'm now alternating a chemical-physical combo sunscreen with with a moisturising chemical one by Avene (it contains no alcohol denat which can be drying!) and that is working really well. I will keep the Green People one and use it from time to time, as I hate wasting products and I like to alternate my sunscreens anyway. If your skin doesn't get dried out by titanium dioxide this sunscreen might suit you as it is fantastic for sensitive skin, gives good protection and looks pretty on.”
Thank you for your review. We have never considered TiO2 (titanium dioxide) to be drying to the skin so we do not know by what process this could happen as it is an inert mineral that is incapable of absorbing or removing water from the skin. Perhaps some other factor is at play, such as other skin care or medication.

“very disappointed, as the cream felt light, hydrating and did not upset my sensitive skin...but used it 1 sunny afternoon in early spring ...only spent a couple of hrs outside and by the end of the day i had two big sunspots i the tip of my nose and another couple in my forhead!”
Thank you for your review. Hyperpigmentation is either the result of severe burning, or is caused by long-term sun exposure over weeks or months leading to accumulated damage. It physically could not be caused by two hours sun exposure in early spring. However, if the damage was already done in the past (say in previous summers) then the skin may display excess pigmentation following low levels of sun exposure due to hypersensitivity of the melanocytes caused by this previous exposure and damage. Also we take great care when formulating our sun lotions and we are careful to NEVER use phototoxic ingredients (like lemon, lime peel etc) that could increase pigmentation.

“Truly amazing. I have finally found a sun cream that actually works for me, is non-greasy and almost completely organic! Normally I can wear any well known brand factor 50+, reapply every hour and still burn to a crisp. I only applied this once (and was unexpectedly out in the sun longer than anticipated) but it actually lasted all day. Now I take it with me everywhere I go. This is the first summer i've avoided sun burn completely.
Slightly disappointed to find (after reading replies to some of the questions on here) that it's exactly the same stuff as the non-facial cream but just in a smaller bottle. If i'd known I would have bought the bigger size but at least now I have a handy travel size bottle to reuse :)
Highly recommend this fantastic product, it has literally changed my life completely as I no longer have to cover up completely during the summer months.”
