“It actually has a strong fragrance free smell but that goes quickly. It also does have a white cast but again that disappears. But the worst is that it pills. So I wouldn't buy it again.”

Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or in the wrong order. Silicone based products can also cause this effect.
We would also recommend exfoliating 2 – 3 times a week, which helps to remove dead skin cells which can form a blockade that keeps products from being absorbed.

“A tiny bit of me wish that it could be a bit more moisturising but overall I'm very happy with this cream, not sticky at all, goes on smoothly, it's just so hard to find a good sun cream with high SPF WITHOUT perfume/ fragrance ( I'm allergic to those ) that I'm very grateful for this product. I will keep buying this cream and a great value too.”

“My daughter (a fair skinned red-head) and I love this sunscreen. No burnt skin here! We like the fact that it is clean, no nasties and the idea of helping our ocean friends too! It can be tricky to rub in but we wouldnt change for anything! A bonus is the new eco packaging - great!”

“I bought this because I suffer with acne meaning I need a sun cream that wont block my pores. Adding this to the fact that I only use products which are cruelty free and vegan, its very difficult to find a product that matches all of my needs. This sun cream soaks in well and doesnt leave the skin feeling greasy, it has not made my acne worse so I have confidence to use it everyday if I need to. All of this and the bottle is 100% recyclable sugar cane and the packaging it was delivered in was all recyclable or compostable helping me to achieve my plastic free lifestyle. I WILL be buying this and other products from Green People again in the future.”
