“The product itself is wonderful, tastes great. Why can't you put this toothpaste in glass jars that are recyclable? Its such a shame you have put all this effort into ingredients but the packaging is what spoils it for me a big time. And it came wrapped in bubble wrap, i don't know why? It is about the impact it has on the planet, right? So it doesn't matter if all that is inside is organic if what contains it will not be recycled, cannot be reused or will not decompose for 1000 years. I wish you all the best but i will not be buying your product again.”
Unfortunately our toothpastes are the only product we sell that does not have recyclable packaging.
This is due to the complex packaging needed to keep the ingredients fresh there is an element of aluminium and plastic.
Glycerin absorbs moisture and if we were to use just plastic tubes, moisture could be absorbed through the packaging and cause the toothpaste to be runny.
This may not be the case for all toothpastes as it depends on the level of Glycerin they use but for our formulation we must use this non-recyclable packaging with aluminium within it.

“I've been using this toothpaste for a few years now. On the rare occasions I have to use 'normal' toothpaste it burns my mouth.
Have also ordered for my mother as she had a persistent ulcer problem and severe gum infection. Normal toothpaste was making it worse - this is the only thing that has given her any relief.”

“Unfortunately my husband and I are very disappointed with this toothpaste. It did not have any discernible flavour, did not leave our mouths feeling fresh or clean at all. We persevered for a week to give it a chance because it is so different from mainstream products due to the absence of the SLS (foaming agent), however, we both feel like we have an awful build up of plaque and I actually think my teeth may have stained a little. We have been been using the child version for our 3 year old for a few months now but I think we will stop as if it isn't effective on our teeth it probably isn't on hers. It is a shame as I really like this company and I had hoped we had found a good natural product that didn't need all the nasties.”

“I've found that both the minty toothpaste and the fennel are fine when I use them with my electric toothbrush but leave something to be desired when I use a regular one. My teeth feel clean enough after use (regardless of the brush) but when I use the regular toothbrush, it feels like there's no substance to the paste so I don't know how much is actually getting on my teeth.
Also not wild about the tiny amount (half of what you get in other tubes of toothpaste).”
