“Having struggled with a painful tongue whenever I used "normal" toothpaste, I researched alternatives and found Green People SLS free toothpaste. It takes a little getting used to (the colour is a bit sludgy and there's no foaming) but it doesn't make my tongue hurt and my teeth feel clean afterwards (I do use a water flosser as well though).”
