“The texture of the conditioner is excellent and smells lovely. Feels good on the scalp and less tangle compared to my old conditioner. The USP was definitely this being an environment friendly product and relatively less chemicals compared to my old conditioner. It is slightly pricey but so far good results and so no complaints there . I am having to use around 2-3 pumps for my hair though I have a short Bob and I do have to leave this on my hair for atleast 6-10 min to achieve the desired result and hence the 4 stars.”

“The conditioner is actually lovely. Leaves my hair soft and smells delicious BUT why does it need to have alcohol in it? I originally bought it because I misunderstood and thought it alcohol free - I have complete intolerance to alcohol It may be a gentle one but that really doesnt help me and I know there are many others with the same problem”
Thank you for your review. Our products contain Benzyl, Cetyl & Cetearyl alcohol. In chemistry, the word 'alcohol' simply means any substance which has an Oxygen/Hydrogen pairing at one end of its molecular structure. There are literally hundreds of different alcohols in existence. Many of them have names that end in the letters 'ol' and they include substances including Tocopherol (vitamin E), Retinol (vitamin A) and Cholesterol. Some alcohols are fatty waxes that are used as emulsifiers. These include Cetyl alcohol and Cetearyl alcohol, both of which we use in some of our products. These alcohols are very beneficial to the skin, having softening and nourishing properties, as well as forming and stabilising the emulsions of the creams and lotions they are used in. Another form is Benzyl alcohol which is an aromatic compound found in many fruits and berries and which is used in some products as a natural preservative. The alcohol that people generally try to avoid is ethanol or ethyl alcohol. This is the volatile substance that is found in alcoholic drinks and which can have a drying and sensitising effect on the skin. It is also the form of alcohol that some people need to avoid for religious or cultural reasons and is the substance that most people are referring to when they use the term 'alcohol'.Ethanol has nothing in common with Cetyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol and Benzyl alcohol apart from the fact that they all have an Oxygen/Hydrogen pairing at the end of their molecules. They have totally different properties and people wishing to avoid Ethanol should have no concerns over using Cetyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol or Benzyl alcohol.

“A great range from green people that has helped my hair immensely! Its such a good product for helping damaged, brittle and undernourished hair. Also great for sensitive scalps! It goes a long way and can last a long time if used sensibly. I have fine curly hair with a very sensitive scalp and this shampoo and conditioner has brought my hair back to full strength with a fab shine! Very happy and wouldnt use anything else!”

“This is amazing . I have very dry, coarse, curly hair which I have highlighted so it was fairly damaged but it's made my hair feel so much more healthy and I have very tangly hair but when I put it on after shampooing it seems to melt the tangles away like magic. I also use it twice a week as a mask and keep it in for an hour before washing. I love it!”

“Love these products. Started using the unscented ones during chemo and have now moved onto various other products. Seems to really suit my hair so no complaints and it's ethical too.”
