“This is a lovely shampoo but have found that it does have pros and cons which is why I have not given it the full 5 stars. For me, the pros are that it smells wonderful - herbal and clean without being medicinal; it has a decent lather on a single shampoo and really luxurious lather on a double shampoo (and yes a little does go a long way); it does not seem to be irritating my sensitive scalp - considering I usually want to claw my head with a brillo pad this is a big improvement for me; it really does make your hair feel clean, which is a pro but also for me is where the (only) con comes in. I have normal to oily hair and it leaves it beyond squeaky clean - to the point of almost feeling "stripped". If you have truly oily hair then this shampoo could be a prize winner for you but it does leave my hair feeling like this. HOWEVER, by using the matching conditioner this stripped feeling disappears and once I have blow dried, my hair looks and feels clean, soft and in great condition.
A long review, but just wanted to warn others that if you use this shampoo on hair that is less than very oily, beware of the stripped feeling but don't let it put you off as the results are worth it IF you use the conditioner alongside it.”

“I usually buy the scent free shampoo as I have a really sensitive scalp but recently my scalp had been reacting to this too. I saw the shampoo for irritated skin and thought I'd give it a go. Sadly it has made my scalp much worse with my hair line becoming so red and sore and my scalp has been dry and flaky. Having spent so much money on this I really am very disappointed and as I was hopeful it would be a great product”
