“I'm heavily pregnant and my scalp keeps me up at night as it's so itchy. They must still use a powerful foaming agent as even a tiny bit is very foamy. It's smell is really unpleasant and I think it's lifted a layer of skin off and dried my hair out. I use the tiniest bit. It will go in the bin after a week or two of trying to like it. Wish I'd bought another 'itchy, flakey' shampoo”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you have had this experience with our Irritated Scalp Shampoo. This shampoo is a concentrated formula so only a tiny amount is needed. If it is producing copious foam then it may be that too much is being used. It is also incredibly important to ensure it is thoroughly rinsed out of the hair after washing as even small traces of shampoo left on the scalp can cause irritation. “I bought this shampoo because I wanted a paraben and SLS free shampoo that still cleans my long hair and leaves it smelling nice. I was very happy to find this brand and as it is my first time buying a more natural shampoo, I found the price very affordable. I chose this shampoo because I oil my hair regularly and my scalp is sometimes oily. The smell of lavender and rosemary is amazing and I love it that there are real essential oils and healthy ingredients in the shampoo. I will definitely buy it again!”

“For so long I thought I could never get my hair to be non-greasy for more than a day, and I was so skeptical about buying this because nothing ever worked before. Its left my hair feeling clean, thicker and less limp/lifeless, plus it only takes a little splidge to really clean your hair. Highly recommend buying the conditioner and shampoo!”

“Used it 3 times and it's really difficult to wash the shampoo out. I think I did just to find out after drying my hair that my hair looks even more greasy than before the wash! 3rd time was the luckiest. But only because I spent what it felt like ages rinsing my hair! Really wanted to like it.. but don't have the patience to use it again to feel the benefits.”

“I have never used a natural shampoo before and was not really convinced it would do anything to my greasy hair. I was so pleasantly surprised when I washed my hair for the first time with this shampoo! I am not sure yet if it reduces the itchiness but I can definitely recommend.”
