“This is the second time I have purchased the Daily Aloe Shampoo as it is so mild and gentle and I wash my hair every day. Green People was recommended by a friend as I was looking for a product that was free from and kind to the environment. I'm not yet ready to use a shampoo bar so this was perfect. The smell is also lovely.”

“This is a very light shampoo that leaves hair shiny, without any build up. It has a lovely fragrance and you really do only need a small amount to get enough lather. Even suits my daughter's Afro hair and that is quite an achievement!”

“I am sensitive to a lot of perfumes and chemicals. This shampoo and conditioner has a lovely mild smell that does not upset me and my scalp is not irritated by them. A little goes a long way so, even though I'm retired with a small pension, I'm happy to buy these products.”

“I usually wash my hair every other day, but if using this I would have to wash every day. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case as I'm trying to support more ethical brands, but I'm a bit disappointed”

It could be that you are using too much shampoo and only washing the hair once. Anyone with oily or greasy hair should really wash their hair twice, each time using a small amount of shampoo. The first wash will not foam much but it will solubilise the oil although not actually remove much of it from the hair and scalp. This should be rinsed away, and then washed a second time - this time the shampoo will foam much more, and will easily remove all remaining traces of oil and grease. It is also important to rinse very thoroughly after the second wash to be sure that all traces of shampoo are removed.
