“Have been using this as a daily moisturiser for three years and I love it. It offers excellent protection which I need as suffer from rosacea. Goes on smoothly, doesn't feel greasy like a lot of sun creams, definitely worth it.”

“This cream feels a bit like a paste when applying. It has a very matte feel to it. However it absorbs well and is non greasy under make up. I have mature skin though so I may try a different moisturiser from the range next time.”

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience with one of our products. We recommend exfoliating regularly in order to remove any build up for excess skin cells. This should help any creams absorb well into the skin. It is also worth trying a pressing technique whereby you use the palm of your hand to help press the cream in as this will further help with absorption. “The cream is very thick and very difficult to spread at least on my skin. I try to combine it together with an oil I have but as I am pregnant I don't know if I really should. Also it makes me look a couple of tones whiter than I am and as I have a slightly darker skin it doesn't look nice.”

“I wanted to give this a try as i was after a vegan and cf moisturiser with spf and nice ingredients (basically impossible to come by). I really wanted to love this and have used it for around a month to give it a proper chance. Firstly, the best thing about this moisturiser is that it seeps into your skin quickly, is not irritating and does not look greasy on your skin or leave a cast like a lot of spfs do! However, I saw no improvement in the condition of my skin - it was no more moisturised and my acne appeared to worsen. Also, the texture of the cream is very thick and requires quite a lot of spreading to properly sink into the skin. Upon more research I have discovered that palm oil (the second ingredient on the list) has a comedogenic rating of 4!!!!! I bought this as it had been stated to be suitable for all skin types by the brand but palm oil is suitable for dry or very dry skin types NOT oily skin, and is likely to clog your pores and cause acne. I was very disappointed to find this out and for the reasons listed I will not repurchase this cream or indeed even finish my one. I love green people for the ethics you stand for and keep doing what you do but unfortunately this product is NOT for me.”

Thank you for your review. Ratings such as the one you mention relate to applying palm oil alone directly onto the skin. As part of a preservative blend this does not present the same issue. All of our products are non-comedogenic.
