“On the positive side, the trees were healthy and well rooted. Two issues however. Firstly they were too tall for the delivery van so were bent and slightly damaged towards the top. The growing method involves significantly pruning side branches to encourage height growth so although the price vs height seems like good value, the width will take a while to recover. The photos on the website illustrating the trees do show this tall/thin appearance so it wasn't a complete surprise. On reflection however I should have shopped elsewhere for less severely pruned trees which could be planted further apart and provide a better screen from the outset.”
