Phyllostachys Bissettii - green caned bamboos are the best hedge for windy spots compared to the other bamboo they form a nice dense hedge. They have dark green, narrow leaves and canes.They make a graceful screen whilst adding movement to the garden. You will need some room as they make large bushy clumps
