Rhododendrons are part of a huge family with many different varieties which can be planted in any position.They are evergreen shrubs that can be dwarf or large growing. With dense colourful funnel shaped, fragrant flowers, that last throughout late Spring early Summer. They thrive in acidic soil and full shade. Always plant shallow and mulch with peat or leaf mould annually. Rhododendron hybrid germania are evergreen, rounded, rhododendron with large dark glossy leaves. Bears loose rounded clusters of rose red bell-shaped flowers, in late spring. Height usually reaches 0.8-1.3m.
