Camellias are one of the most popular winter- and spring-flowering evergreen shrubs, providing a vivid splash of colour when little else is in bloom. Camelias prefer free-draining conditions, with plenty of organic matter, such as leaf mould, incorporated into the soil. Camellia Japonica Pearl Maxwell is an evergreen shrub, rich green foliage and has double, pure pink flowers in early spring. Prefers sheltered positions. Requires well drained lime free soil.Slow growing.
