Green Privet make fab hedges. They grow anywhere and usually keep most of their leaves in winter. They can be clipped to any size or shape. They also smell great in mid summer and attract bees and other friendly beasties. Don't worry if there are a lot of leaves missing when they are in a pot or when it's very cold and most leaves fall off, they soon burst back in early spring.

“Prompt delivery and well packaged. However there was only one of the 30 plants/whips that actually had any leaves on. It is appreciated that they can shed their leaves over winter but these were like sticks! However, I planted them immediately, provided them with lots of water and an NPK slow release fertiliser (with optimum ratios for good privet growth) so hoping that they will grow well in our garden this summer.”

“I was so pleasantly surprised to see the root ball wrapped in hessian and not plastic. The plants looked incredibly healthy and sturdy and are thriving already. The delivery was outstanding and the driver went out of his way to carry the trees into the garden. Would recommend this company very highly!”

“Delivery was good but I’m a bit concerned that 2 or 3 of my privet are dead! I have taken photos and I will keep an eye on them. Its a bit concerning when I think how many hundreds of £’s I spent on them”
