Thuja - cedar - are fast growing, evergreen conifers, they have compact yellowish green foliage that when crushed smells heavenly of pineapple. They respond very well to being trimmed and make a lovely hedge, not as quick growing as the leylandii and can be trimmed hard. To plant thujas they like pretty much all soils but don't like to sit wet.

“I will not ever use this business again! I bought 3 trees, two of them were and are great. One however looked brown when delivered. I challenged this and was told completely normal?? And to feed and water, which I did for a month and slowly watched the plant die. I have contact again asking for a replacement (not unreasonable to have what you have paid for?) Only to be offered 20% off if I buy another one !!!! Issue not resolved yet.”
