Athyrium or Lady Fern is a deciduous and very hardy clump forming fern or bog plant. They have a beautiful green foliage in the Spring, Summer and Autumn months. Athyrium will grow very well in shady areas however they will tolerate full sun or partial shade if they are given plenty of water, making them just about perfect for any site in the garden. They are the ideal Fern to plant under large trees, shrubs or around your pond. No pruning is required but feel free to remove any dead leaves. Athyrium Filix-Femina striking deciduous fern with a shortly-creeping rhizome and lance-shaped, bright green fronds. height can reach 80cm
