A dwarf evergreen with small leaves. Produces abundant trusses of blooms in mid-spring.Plant in any position as well as full shade. Prefers an acidic soil. Grows to 1m Japanese azaleas are short growing, evergreen shrubs. They thrive in acidic soil, bear small leaves and bright showy tubular flowers in mid to late spring. They are the perfect shrub for rockeries, make good gap fillers and will grow well in containers. They require little or no work and are enjoyable all year round - a garden must have!
