Elaeagnus are also known as spotted oleaster - they a medium evergreen shrub with broad ovate leaves. They bear small silver, slightly fragrant flowers which sometimes are followed by berries in Autumn. Makes a lovely specimen shrub or a very colourful screening plant as it is very dense growing and does well with being trimmed. Elaeagnus x Ebbingei Vivileg is a new and improved Gilt Edge.
