Cordyline species are woody-stemmed, evergreen shrubs grown for their attractive foliage in shades of green, bronze, purple.They naturally and gradually loose the older leaves giving the plants palm-like appearance. Cordyline thrive best in full sun or partial shade. they also thrive best in fertile and well drained soil. Cordyline Red Star has lance shaped red foliage and large panicles of small fragrant cream flowers, they can reach heights up 3-10m (10-30ft).
