Cortaderia or Pampas grass - are robust evergreen grasses, rough textured with long leaves, beautiful flowers make a fantastic display in summer and autumn time. They have sharp strap like foliage and in summer they produce large feathery plumes that can be kept and dried out and used all around your home to decorate. In winter the colours vary to the Cortaderia you choose. Cortaderia like full sun and well drained soil. For pruning you need to cut out and comb the previous year’s stems and foliage. Cortaderia Splendid Star variegated pampas grass with gold and green strap like foliage, lovely creamy white flower plumes in late summer onwards. Height can reach 70cm.
