Cotoneaster are deciduous or evergreen shrubs. They are excellent as a ground cover or planted in a border. They have small oval leaves and saucer-shaped flowers which are white to pink in colour. The flowers are followed by plenty of ornamental berries. Cotoneaster Dammerii has evergreen bright green weeping and spreading branches and dark green foliage. Clusters of pink centred,white, may blossom like flowers are followed in autumn by scarlet fruits. Easy to grow in any soil and position or in a container.H.25/30cm spreading grouncover. Cotoneaster are very easy to maintain and can take most positions in the garden. They thrive in moderately fertile, well drained soil and can tolerate dry positions. Cotoneaster can be cut back after flowering if required.
