Prunus or Flowering Cherry can be deciduous or evergreen trees or shrubs with showy flowers in spring, and often good autumn foliage colour. Some have edible fruit in autumn, and a few species have ornamental bark. Prunus requires a nice sunny position and thrive best in moist well drained soil. Prunus Royal Burgundy is a beautiful variety that has burgundy red leaves. Bears large showy,double deep rose pink blossom mid to late April.Stem height 110cm Propagate by budding or grafting.
