Liriope are evergreen herbaceous perennials forming compact clumps or spreading patches of arching, linear leaves and dense spikes or racemes of small globose flowers, followed by black berries. Propagate by seed sown in containers outdoors in spring or propagate by division in spring In the right conditions the Liriope can reach an ultimate height of 0.1-0.5 metres and an ultimate spread of 0.1-0.5 metres. Time to ultimate height 2-5 years Liriope Muscari Big Blue is a grass like perennial with lime green strap foliage. Produces stems of blue candle like flowers. They like a woodland position in semi shade although they do ok in the sun.
