Thuja - cedar - are fast growing, evergreen conifers, they have compact yellowish green foliage that when crushed smells heavenly of pineapple. They respond very well to being trimmed and make a lovely hedge, not as quick growing as the leylandii and can be trimmed hard. To plant thujas they like pretty much all soils but don't like to sit wet.

“I ordered and paid for larger plants and was informed that I should have confirmed the order despite the fact it had been paid for in full. I had to accept smaller trees as you sold mine elsewhere. Did I received apology. No I was to blamed by a very unfriendly staff member for not confirming an order I had already paid for”
