Photinias are evergreen shrubs commonly found in woodlands. They have alternate, lance-shaped leaves which are mid green in colour. Evergreen leaves are glossy and have a bright red sometimes pink colour when young Photinia are best planted in a shrub border or around a garden as a hedge. They enjoy fertile, well-drained soil and full or partial sun. Evergreen glossy, green leaves shot through with creamy white variegation on mature leaves. Photinia fraseri pink marble have a new foliage wich is red when young having pink variegation. Broad heads of 5 petalled flowers are borne in late spring.Large growing but likes pruning to keep colourful,upright and bushy. They can reach 3-4 meters.
