Photinias are evergreen shrubs commonly found in woodlands. They have alternate, lance-shaped leaves which are mid green in colour. Evergreen leaves are glossy and have a bright red sometimes pink colour when young. Photinia Crunchy A new form of the gardeners favourite shrub that has beautiful bright chocolate, red crinkled new foliage, maturing to dark green. Requires full sun and well drained soil. They enjoy fertile, well-drained soil and full or partial sun.

“The actual plant was in great condition, as all Grassland plants are. Delivery was good. However the trellis support had been stapled to the pot! We didn’t realise this until it was too late, and during removal from the pot to the border, the trellis support snapped. Disappointing as there was no mention that they had done this. It made planting into the border even harder, as its a large heavy plant to start with. Despite this the hedge panel was a good size to fill the gap we needed”
