Leptospermum or tea tree are evergreen shrubs grown for their small, scented flowers. Flowers can be borne singularly or in groups of two or three and come in various eye catching colours such as white, red or pink. Leptospermum have alternate, variably shaped leaves which can have silky hairs. They should be grown against a wall which receives regular sunlight.
