Pseudosasa - arrow bamboo - produce dense thickets of hollow canes they are very attractive and can be used for all sorts of things. With them producing such a dense shrub they are ideal for blocking out windy spots, hedging and screening out any unwanted views. Pseudosasa are wind and shade tolerant. To grow arrow bamboos they want fertile, but well drained soil and can take sun or partial. To maintain Pseudosasa's remove any unwanted, dead or damaged branches and you can divide them. Pseudosasa Japonica are a fast growing bamboo with olive green canes when young maturing to pale beige with contrasting dark green, oblong leaves, height can reach up to 6-8m.

“Not good value for money! The Bamboos received are no where near established like the advertised photos. I know you can’t guarantee all are the same but somewhere closer than this would have been expected. When I raised this in writing with them all I got is ‘I’m sorry your not happy’ no explanation at all. Not good customer service.”
