“These are of an excellent quality and although not cheap, they make a big difference to the stability of a larger tree. They are fairly easy to put together, however, recommend using screws and not nails. You do need a sledge hammer to be able to knock in the large posts to a good depth. I would also recommend you have a piece of cap wood to place on top of the post to prevent splitting when knocking in.”

“The quality of the stakes were very good, robust and more than adequate for the job, Howver the product could be improved if the cross piece that joins the two stakes has two slots cut into it. This would allow the plastic ties to be inserted into the slots and make it much simpler to secure the tree to the cross piece. I had to cut out my own lots on each cross piecee which took added time.”

“The rubber bands for these staking kits were not the correct ones. They were for attaching a tree to a post, not a 2 stake kit. We had to purchase new bands. The wooden uprights are very heavy and sturdy though.”
