Photinias are evergreen shrubs commonly found in woodlands. They have alternate, lance-shaped leaves which are mid green in colour. Evergreen leaves are glossy and have a bright red sometimes pink colour when young. Photinia Red Robin have bright red new growth that matures to green with age. Photinia have small five-petalled, cup-shaped flowers which are followed by spherical fruits which are usually red in colour. Red Robin are best planted in a shrub border or around a garden as a hedge. They enjoy fertile, well-drained soil and full or partial sun.

“Excellent purchase, i was worried that the trees were not going to be as shown in the advert, but to my delight, they were better!! The young lad who delivered the trees, was so helpful and would not let me help. he insisted on doing all the work. All in all, a perfect purchase.”
