Thuja - cedar - are fast growing, evergreen conifers, they have compact yellowish green foliage that when crushed smells heavenly of pineapple. They respond very well to being trimmed and make a lovely hedge, not as quick growing as the leylandii and can be trimmed hard. To plant thujas they like pretty much all soils but don't like to sit wet.

“I have Planted 18 of these rootball hedging trees, at the front of my garden, their all doing well, I am happy with my purchase. My only advice is to be prepared as they are heavy to move from the pallet they arrive in. Please Grasslands can you try and add the weight if buying heavy hedging trees on your website.”

“Overall the trees are very good , this is the only plus point , one came a little damaged and a little yellow but I'm hoping it will pick up now its in the ground”
