Juniperus - junipers - come in different forms as they make lovely upright conifers but are also perfect for ground cover and hiding any unwanted soil. The foliage is tightly knitted together and bear small black berries in Winter. Junipers are very tolerant of most soils and conditions. They do like well drained but moist conditions. Making a lovely plant in the garden as they don't need any work doing to them and they are native to the UK.
