Salix or willow are deciduous trees renowed for their attractive fluffy catkins in spring time and colourful bark. Ideal solution for planting in wet soils and look lovely around ponds. Very easy to grow, can be trimmed in late Winter early Spring to all sizes. Thrives best in moist soil conditions and prefers full sun. Salix Tristis - golden weeping willow - slender, golden-yellow shoots and narrow, lance-shaped, bright green leaves. Yellow male catkins and green female catkins are produced with the leaves in spring. Height can reach around 20 meters.
