Hebe are evergreen shrubs with dense leafy foliage made up of lance-shaped, rounded or ovate leaves. The erect racemes of tubular flowers protrude from the leaves in summer and are available in a wide range of colours (white, pinks, blues, purples.) They grow best in Full sun or partial shade and thrive best in moist but well-drained soil. Hebe Rakaiensis is a compact, rounded evergreen small shrub to 90cm in height, with small, bright green leaves and short spikes of white flowers from early summer. They an reach a height of 1 meter.
