The posh form of laurel hedging. They cost a little more than common laurel but they are more graceful in appearance with purple shoots and finer leaves. They grow fairly swiftly and require trimming once or twice a year. Plant in any soil except for waterlogged. Myrtifolia is an even finer leaved form and at first glance looks just like bay laurel but much hardier

“These were ordered, paid for and, within a week, delivered on a pallet to our home and planted. An excellent service provided by Grasslands Nursery and Pallex who delivered. All twenty Portuguese Laurels were sturdy, healthy plants with good roots filling the pots. Would not hesitate to recommend and will return to Grasslands in the future.”

“Purchased 55 in total of these in July. Height ranged from 30-50cm despite description saying 70-90cm. Disappointed as we wanted an instant effect. If we`d known they would be so small we would have bought elsewhere.”
