“Beautiful specimen. Arrived green and took well when planted. Lived up to its name in October and November with brilliant flame red leaves, which are holding their own in the gales. Care taken by the nursery was let down by courier leaving it outside the door without ringing the bell or knocking. We later found it blown over and lying on its side on the path.”

“Suffered a little bit of transplant shock and has lost half of its leaves, but has recovered well and now seems to be growing. A lovely tree, at a good price.”
