Cherry laurels are the most widely planted evergreen hedger. They need a little room to develop and can be pruned anytime. Feed twice a year to keep those leaves looking luxurious. They do not like being waterlogged. They grow anywhere except chalk.

“Ou laurels arrived even better than in the pictures and have done well after two weeks of hot weather. Very happy to have made the order on a Friday and received the order on Monday, and that was with delivery from near Sheffield to Cambridge.”

“Bought 13 of these. They looked green and healthy but I noticed they were stone dry when they arrived. Some water had been sprayed on them but not very uniformly. I watered them overnight and then planted them the next day. They have taken a while to to successfully take to the new site and the intensely hot weather has not helped at all with most of them drying our lot rapidly. We are watering regularly and once the hot weather passes hopefully they will recover and become green and bushy. Bad luck to have had such hot weather but I feel the plants could have been better watered upon arrival.”
