“this is a great product thats well made. the only problem i had was taking the top off to check the inside before i hooked it to the rv. the cap has residue caked in the threads and was really hard to come off. i recommend taking it off and cleaning the threads before using. also i almost stripped the plastic threads outting it back on. it went in crooked a few times until i pressed down just the right way. be careful and enjoy your new system. its awesome.”

“So, I bought this back in May, along with their 3 stage filtration system. I finally needed to use it and Both are leaking from broken plastic parts. All my BT products look perfect, no scratches, dings. I didn't drop it and the packaging was incredible, big pieces of foam protecting it. The plastic top cover is thick and it is leaking deep in the groove (bottom left in picture). I called Blu Tech and they said out of warranty, "damage caused by use or shipping". WTF, this piece of plastic is thick. The other piece is broken at the mount of 8 screws holding it to the frame. Going with someone else. I bought everything for my RV trip but got delayed for many reasons. So, couldn't test it right away but being brand new.”

“Purchased the Filter and the Water System. The filter quick connect leaked. PLEASE SEE REVIEW ON THE R3 that I posted for a complete explanation. BUT.... I do love this water softener. It works as promised and Im very pleased with the product. The after purchase warranty service and quality control were the issue with the purchase. At this price point - a customer shouldn't have any leaks out of the box. That said - Im still happy with the purchase - and do recommend the softener. PLEASE check company web site for warranty and return infom- they're very specific - worth knowing before ordering.”
