“Big and gorgeous. I work with young adults who are at that age where they are just finding themselves and exploring their identities. In the past 4 years, 0.001% of our students have openly come out as trans whilst under our care and with many others likely choosing not to or at least questioning. Even though my workplace is very diversity positive its unfortunately still difficult for people to know who is a safe person or what is a safe space. In my opinion it's not enough just to be trans-positive as a person with a relative amount of power... I need to be actively and visibly anti-transphobic.”
