“The shorts mandated for no-gi training at our gym are traditional “board shorts” and are not very comfortable according to my 9 year old daughter. The optional spats have a seam right in the private area that was also very uncomfortable for her. The board shorts/or spats are mandatory in training, not in competitions. Therefore, we wanted to find a better option for competitions. I met and spoke with Brian Posey with First Roll at the AGF Columbus, GA recently and he recommended Gaidama. My daughter agreed to try them out and she absolutely loves them. Extremely comfortable, no seam in the wrong area, material is thick enough to not be “see-through” (like many no-gi shorts), long enough to be deemed appropriate, and a great purchase. My daughter loves these shorts and can’t wait to wear them at her upcoming competitions.”
