“Best fitting spats hands down . I have a boyish rectangle figure and a super short torso. So I struggle finding spats that are long enough in the legs but don’t end at my butt crack.
I am 5’7” and weigh a 180 lbs and I wear the medium - I love the inner string as my weight fluctuates- I could wear a large but I like the compression of the medium. They feel great, and don’t pill.”
“I fluctuate between 110-115lb, 5'-5", 26" waist, typically a S in other brands. Bought the ranked spats in XS per size chart first. It is snug and gives me a muffin top, but it's not uncomfortably tight or hard to put on.
Then bought both the black and merlot in S and those fit much more comfortably. For some reason the black came with an open ended draw string and merlots a closed loop one. Muffin top went away ! The fit is great and I feel secure rolling in no gi finally compared to other thinner spats that I have.
It is not too hot under the gi (early Spring right now) but I will probably switch to their shorts under gi when it's summer. Loving the comfort and fit. Thank you!”
“The first pair of spats I’ve found that not only look and feel amazing but have amazing coverage. I don’t ever have to worry about my spats falling down or being see through”
“I have two and feel like it’s not enough because I want to wear it everyday now. It has two layers so we don’t have to worry about showing the underwear. With these, I feel comfortable enough to train without extra shorts on top of my leggings because nothing will be seen.
I’m 5’3 and weigh 145lbs and my preferred size is a Medium, it fits me perfectly.
I also have it in other colors and I can guarantee they’re all perfect, you will NOT find better grappling spats.”
“My only critique (but still 5 stars) is that if you are postpartum and core is still not quite what it used to (loose skin, extra abdominal fat still), you may find that you need to size up or else the band is too tight cutting in too much and causing the stomach to fold over the top and bottom (Ah..the joys of postpartum). I followed the size chart and based on my height and weight I am almost sized to a XS but went with S and while it fits perfect everywhere else, the band is just a little bit snug for now. Keeping though because in the upcoming weeks I know that will change! Aside from that - its really one of the best pairs of tights I have owned (And I own many, being an endurance athlete the past 15+ years) will be buying more!”
