“Pants are either too baggy or too tight. I have thick legs and butt and short legs, but I have no issue finding the perfect with with Gaidama pants. The material feels stretchy and I can play guard freely as if it I was wearing No Gi material”

Size Ordered A0L Jacket, A1L Pants.
My daughter has been a fan of Gaidama from her first Avant Garde Spats and Rash Guard. No matter if its school, at the gym or just hanging out around the house she usually has something Gaidama on.
As she has grown and tried many Gi’s she has developed a specific like / dislike list. Since moving to adult sizes, she has been wearing FUJI Sekai, Suparaito, KINGZ Balistico 2, 3 and now 4. The balistico has been the GI she grabs when going to class. Tried the women’s then switched to men’s where long sizes are available.
When the new Gaidama GI dropped, we knew we had to give it a try, but can it live up to the high bar Kendall has set?
Here are our thoughts so far.
Love that you select the jacket and pants sizes separately. We have always had to compromise. Either the jacket was going to be too big or the pants much too short.
First impressions
Monterey loves the bags that both pants and jacket came in. Already one has been repurposed to a quick go bag that she uses at school.
When she pulled the pants out of the bag I did see the frown. She has been a ripstop believer for some time now. Says most cotton pants feel bunched up behind the knee when rolling. As soon as she put them on that frown went away. Loves the high waist, raised back. She could tell right away these were going to stay where they belong, and the cording wasn’t going to dig into her hip bone. Ripstop bullet dodged. On to the jacket.
Love this. The finish, stitching and the tailored fit look is like none we have seen before. Its light and looks like it should hold up well. This jacket really stands out.
Overall super happy with the purchase. Wish I had ordered the A1T pants and probably will soon as we see how much they shrink after a few washes.
Hope to see a blue option in the future as blue is her go to training color and usually tries to keep the white sharp looking for the seminars.
So far, I believe this GI is a big hit and may be her go to. Time will tell.”
“So I always told people that if you’re going to get 1 thing from Gaidama, the spats are perfect. BUT now, they have the perfect gi pants too. I got short thick legs so gi pants are normally too tight or if they are loose fitting, I look like I’m swimming on it. These fit loose but look fitted. I’m really happy with the way it’s cut. No more sewing my own gi pants”
